The 21st annual Truck-N-Show will be held this year on August 13th and 14th, 2010, starting with the "Lights of the Night Convoy" going up Main Street in Waupun, Wisconsin. The trucks are all decked out in fancy lighting and the city turns off the street lights so that viewers can better see the lighted truck parade. The trucks also do not have their headlights on. The colorful event can last from two to three hours depending on the number of trucks. Last year there were 318 trucks in the Truck-N-Show and that was with diesel fuel at over $4 per gallon. Some of the participants came from as far away as California and Florida. The Truck-N-Show has two parades. After the Friday night "Lights of the Night Convoy" parade, on Saturday there will be the Nation's Largest Truck Parade starting at 3 pm. One of the highlights of the event will be the appearance of the Chrome Shop Mafia Men from the CMT TV show "Trick My Truck." Proceeds from the Truck-N-Show will go to various charities including the Make-A-Wish foundation.
